It is made out of a 21mm Rod of Gold Faturan. You can kind of make out the Gold Flakes in Photos 7, and 11. My Grandfather had this Cane made at the Factory where he Worked in England. This is not a Reproduction, and Please Do Not be Fooled by Any. Faturan, or German Amber, was used for Prayer Beads, Komboloi, and has such a Smooth feel to it that it almost feels like a Silky Softness.They can still make this Stuff, but the Collectors know by the Unmistakable Patina. The Original Color, I was told, is Gold, and not Red.

All Authentic Faturan turns Red from Many Years of Oxidation , and exposure to the Elements.
