Vintage/Antique Lot of 16 Loose Red Cherry Amber Bakelite Faturan Prayer Beads 134 Grams. This is a rare lot of 16 vintage/antique large red cherry amber bakelite Faturan loose prayer beads. 11 large barrel shaped red cherry amber bakelite beads measuring approx. 1.76 cm x 2.7 cm in diameter for the largest one, down to 1.28 cm x 2.1 cm in diameter for the smallest one. 10 out of the 11 beads are nicely marbled. One is not marbled but has tiny dust inclusions (see picture). The largest bead weighs 11.6 grams, the smallest, 5.5 grams. 5 freeform darker cherry amber bakelite beads ranging from approx. 1.9 cm x 2.8 cm in diameter for the largest one down to 1.4 cm x 2.2 cm in diameter. These 5 beads are also marbled. 11.6 grams, the smallest, approx. The total weight of this lot is approx. 134.0 grams on my scale. These beads are in good vintage/antique condition with signs of wear and scuffs consistent with age.

The smallest freeform bead has a little chip. They all test positive with Simichrome and hot water test. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or additional pictures.
